Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of davisevinstallations.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

What the Site is

Davis EV Installations is a referral service. We operate a directory of independently CSLB C-10 licensed EV-charger installers serving Greater Sacramento. When you submit an inquiry, we share your contact details with one or more vetted installers in our network.

We do not perform electrical work, install chargers, or pull permits. All electrical and installation work is performed by the matched contractor, who is responsible for license and insurance compliance, permitting, code compliance (NEC, CEC), inspection sign-off, and warranty of their work.

No professional advice

The Site's content — calculators, explainers, by-car pages, panel-fit estimates — is general information. The actual electrical load calculation, panel capacity assessment, and code-compliant scope are produced by the matched installer on-site, per NEC 220 and applicable local amendments.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information about your panel, your EV, and your driving needs. Communicate professionally with installers. Don't use the Site to submit false information, scrape data, or compromise security.

Installer relationships

Any contract for electrical work is between you and the matched installer. We are not a party to that contract, do not have authority to bind any installer, and cannot guarantee outcomes. We vet installers on CSLB C-10 license, insurance, manufacturer authorization, and references — that is a screening process, not a warranty of installer conduct or workmanship.

Rebates and tax credits

The Site references PG&E rebates, federal tax credits, and similar incentives for context. Eligibility, amounts, and procedures are set by the issuing agencies and can change without notice. We are not affiliated with PG&E or any government agency. Confirm current eligibility directly with the issuing agency before relying on any incentive value.

Compensation disclosure

Network installers compensate us for verified homeowner introductions, in accordance with FTC §255. This does not change the price you pay the installer and does not influence the Site's editorial content.

Intellectual property

Site content (text, images, calculator code, schematics, design) is owned by Davis EV Installations or licensed to us. No copying or redistribution without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial reading is permitted.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free content, security, or any specific outcome from an installer match.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Davis EV Installations and its members, officers, agents, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or from work performed by a matched installer. Total aggregate liability is limited to $100 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Davis EV Installations and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, dealings with matched installers, or violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Yolo County or Sacramento County, California.

Changes

We may revise these Terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use after revision is acceptance.
