Davis EV Installations (the "Site") is a referral service that connects homeowners with vetted, CSLB C-10 licensed EV-charger installers. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under California law.
Information we collect
From you: name, phone, email (if shared), address or zip, electrical panel details, EV model, charger preferences, and any project notes.
Automatically: IP, browser and device fingerprint, pages visited, time spent, referring URL, approximate city-level location.
Calls: tracked numbers route through a third-party call-tracking provider. Calls may be recorded; a notification is played at the start of every call.
Cookies: for analytics, session continuity, and ad attribution where enabled.
How we use it
- Match you with one or more vetted C-10 licensed installers serving your area.
- Respond to questions, schedule panel checks, send follow-up scope documents.
- Improve the Site's content, calculators, and search visibility.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Who receives your information
Network installers. When you submit an inquiry or book a panel check, your contact details and panel/EV information are shared with one or more vetted installers serving your area. Each maintains their own privacy practices.
Service providers — hosting, analytics, call tracking, email, CRM — process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Legal disclosure and business transfers as required by law or when our business changes hands.
California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
- Right to know what personal information has been collected and with whom it has been shared.
- Right to delete personal information (with limited exceptions).
- Right to correct inaccurate information.
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing." We don't sell — but California's definition of sharing covers transfers to installer partners. Opt out by emailing the address below.
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Children
Not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Retention · security · changes
Lead records retained ~24 months. Commercially reasonable safeguards used; no transmission or storage is 100% secure. Material policy changes posted 30 days before effect.
